SGI is responsible for the structural engineering of this new 120-apartment 135,000 sf development in Brooklyn. Architectural design for this 8-story plus one cellar building is by ODA architecture. An 8-inch concrete flat plate slab is used to maximize the ceiling heights within the zoning height limits. a reinforced concrete transfer slab is used at the 2nd floor to accommodate larger open spaces at the retail and lobby spaces.
